Reba Bernice James, 99, of Leakesville, MS passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Mrs. James loved the Lord and lived her life according to the Bible. She was the oldest member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She lived a simple life and although she faced many hardships, she remained humble and loved God, her family, and so many others in her life. She enjoyed reading her Bible, listening to gospel music, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo “Brown” James; her son, Patrick “Pat” James; her parents, Henry and Ada Brock; four brothers and four sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sue Holder (Earnest); her sons, Glen James, and Ronnie James (Frances); daughter-in-law, Bonnie James; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Home-going Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 12 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 am. Interment will be held in the Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery with Bro. Greg Foster officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery fund.
