Maxine Elaine Robbins, 77, passed away on September 6, 2018 at the Leakesville Rehab Nursing Facility. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leakesville. She was a homemaker all of her life, and cared for everyone. She was described as being an uplifting person, trying to encourage and bring joy to those around her. Her favorite hobby was visiting and fellowshipping with family and friends. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Emory Talmage Robbins; and her parents, Homer Earnest and Addie Elaine Goff.
She is survived by her siblings, Mary Helen Possey; Elizabeth King; and Franklin Dan Goff (Linda); nieces and nephews, Belinda Lewis (Morgan); Bonita Tilley (Dwaine), Rodney King (Katie), David King (Belita), Dwain King, Jason King, Lee Shepherd (Jill), Ann Crosby (Nate), W.C. Shepherd (Shelly), Denice Howell (Joey), Amanda Lundy (Jefferey), and Josh Goff (Kayla); and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 1 pm with Bro. Bruce McKenzie officiating.
