James Ennis Beech

March 4, 1936 ~ March 5, 2018 (age 82)

Mr. James Ennis “Buddy” Beech, 82, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home in Leakesville. After working at the International Paper Mill for 13 years, Buddy began working as a builder/ contractor for the next 35 years in Greene, George, and Jackson Counties. At an early age he was an avid hunter and loved music, especially playing his guitar and singing both at church and at home. He was a life-long member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Leakesville. He was one of six children born to the close knit family of Rev. Dennis and Marie Beech. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Dennis and Marie Beech; sister, Joyce Rushing; and brothers, Earl and Marlton Beech.

He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Roberta Beech; daughter, Rochelle Beech; sister, Loye Dunnam; brother, Arlton Beech; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 6-9 pm at First United Pentecostal Church of Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at First United Pentecostal Church of Leakesville with Rev. Irvis Dale Everette officiating.
