Ethel Faye (Williams) BlackAugust 31, 1924 ~ December 20, 2017 (age 93)
Ethel Faye Williams Black, 93, passed away on December 20, 2017 at the George County Regional Health and Rehab. She was a life-long member of Leakesville United Methodist Church where she was the Sunday School Treasurer and the United Methodist Women’s Treasurer for many years. She was also active in the Methodist Women’s Quilting group. Her life was devoted to caring for her family and serving in her church. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, A.C. Black; parents, Bruce and Maude Williams; and her brother, Charles Ray Williams.
She is survived by her children, Anita Black, Terry Fleming (Richard), Malcolm Black, and Marla Ford Howell (Bryan); grandchildren, Malorie Rogers (Chase) and Forrest Ford; great-grandchild, Anniston Rogers; and a host of friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Leakesville United Methodist Church with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 pm. Interment will be in the McLeod Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Victor Chatham, Rev. John Grimes, and Chaplain Ron Pierce officiating. Online condolences may be given at www.freemanleakesville.com.
