Tammy Rogers, 44, passed away on December 11, 2017 at her home at Rogers Perry Lake Ranch. She raised Texas Longhorn Cattle, and cared for wildlife. Most of her summers were spent at her home in Perdido Key, FL, where she loved offshore fishing and boating. She loved following her children as they played their sports. She was Valedictorian of her senior class and graduated from USM with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She was the Vice President of Clean Air Services in Hattiesburg. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was a very dedicated mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Chancy Edsel Rogers.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Bill Chancy Rogers; children, Chancy Rogers (Allison), Weldon Rogers (Kimberly), Charly Williams (Tyler), and Weston Rogers; parents, Gerald and Barbara Walley; sisters, Cheryl Pope and Jerri Clark (Matthew); grandchildren, Ryleigh, Wilder, Hunter, Layla, and Lou; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 3 pm with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:30 pm at Freeman Funeral Home.
