Earl VanderfordJune 29, 1937 ~ June 25, 2017 (age 79)
Earl Vanderford, 79, of Neely, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Greene Rural Health Center in Leakesville. He was a member of Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Sand Hill Masonic Lodge. Hunting and fishing were always his favorite hobbies. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Vanderford; parents, Mamie and Howard Vanderford; daughters, Vickie Lynn, Dot, and Baby Vanderford; sister, Ada Ritchie; and brothers, Dewey and Cecil Vanderford.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Vivian Vanderford; son, Pete (Angie) Vanderford; special granddaughter, Georgia Faith Vanderford; brother, J.C. (Sarah) Vanderford; sisters, Ruth Byrd, Mavis Meadows, and Jean Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The wake will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 6-9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Bro. Sidney Farmer and Bro. Greg Hillman officiating. Interment will be held in the Mutual Rights Cemetery. Serving as Pall Bearers will be members of the Sand Hill Masonic Lodge, Shayne Breland, Evon Freeman, Brian Brewer, Cotton Hillman, Ricky Lott, Avil Herring, and Brian Walley.
